Economic Empowerment & PNC Bank Bring Financial Literacy to Beaufort County!

We are excited to share that 17 participants joined us yesterday at the Washington Housing Authority community for our Homeownership & Financial Literacy Workshop in Beaufort County!

It was an incredible opportunity to provide practical guidance on budgeting, credit building, mortgage readiness, and the steps toward becoming a homeowner. We are especially grateful for the engagement and thoughtful questions from attendees who are actively working toward housing stability and long-term financial empowerment.

A special thank you to PNC Bank for its sponsorship of our homebuyer education seminars and for delivering an outstanding presentation on budgeting and financial planning, and to Metropolitan Housing for providing a thorough and informative presentation outlining the first steps in developing a personalized housing plan. Both partners offered practical resources and actionable tools to help our attendees move confidently toward achieving their homeownership goals.

We are also proud to announce that the Washington Housing Authority will be partnering with Koinonia Community Solutions to provide continued follow-up and resources as participants continue their journey toward homeownership.
